Obituary for Kay C. Lim

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt went home to be with her God and Savior on September 7, 2017. Born in Canton, China, on November 10, 1928, Kay married Tim Keung Lim in 1947, and they both immigrated to America in 1948. Along with her husband Tim (now home with his God and Savior), they settled in Marysville, CA. Through the wonderful years in Marysville, they raised six children, Eva, Elsie, Ruby, Victor, Amy and Daisy. They are also proud and loving grandparents to nine beautiful grandchildren. Kay was deeply loved by many and is best known for her generosity, kindness, beautiful smile, outstanding cooking and love for her family. Her loving memories and family legacy now live through her six children, nine grandchildren and her younger sister Helen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 1945 Sampson Street, Marysville, CA 95901, in memory of Kay Chew Lim.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Sierra View Mortuary, 4900 Olive Avenue, Olivehurst, CA 95961, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11 AM.
