Elizabeth Anne  Cook (Howes)
Elizabeth Ann Howes-Cook (94) was graciously called home on September 15, 2017. She resided in Yuba City, CA. Betty was born in Germantown, MD on October 12, 1922. She lived quite the adventurous life, beginning by serving her country during WWII as an aviation mechanic in the Navy stationed in Hawaii at Hickam Field. After her discharge from the Navy, she returned to Baltimore, Maryland where she resumed working for the Federal Government continuing to see the country through various military bases and retired after 30+ years from Beale Air Force Base.

In 1966, she married Frank Cook and they continued to live an adventurous life. She loved square dancing, travelling across the country by road and sailing the oceans by cruise ships. She was an avid reader, and loved her family very much.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frank, Her Mother, Anne Howes, Father, James Howes, and brothers, Bruce, Robert and Lloyd Howes.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, September 26, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park.
